I was at Walmart one day buying groceries and I called Erin because I was at a loss for what to buy: I knew that Erin could help. Erin literally walked me through the aisles while I was doing my grocery shopping! Erin helped me change my approach towards eating and nutrition. I had always been overwhelmed by the idea of making changes but she presented it in a manageable and affordable way. I wasn't even aware of the effects that food was having on my overall mood until, within 24 hours of making the changes that Erin recommended, I felt drastically better and more positive in my outlook.
Our food is our fuel; it's what makes us go and proper nutrition plays a huge role in our health and immune function. Eating foods that support the cells, tissues and organs will go a long way in making you feel great every day.
Everyone wants to feel good and tries to eat healthy, but there is so much conflicting information out there. If you are looking to make changes to your diet, such as "cleaning it up" or other changes such as eliminating grains, or making a few "tweaks" to increase nutrients, and you are unsure where to start, I can help.
I will evaluate your current diet, assess your needs and determine the best approach for achieving your goals with REAL FOOD; NOT by portioning or counting calories or depriving yourself, but with easy modifications geared towards positive and lasting changes.

I met with Erin because I wanted some tips on eating better, as well as how to do it economically. Erin was very helpful with do-able suggestions that were easy to incorporate. After a few months, I was noticing that my jeans that had been slightly tight on me were now too big! Losing weight wasn't even one of my goals at the time, but it was a great bonus. Healthify Your Kitchen (Kitchen Makeover)
If you wish to be healthy, you must remove all foods not conducive to that goal and replace them with better, healthier choices.
A cleaner, fresher and healthier kitchen and grocery budget begins with a small step today - clean out the kitchen! Sounds, simple enough, right? It is! I will come to your house and help you to "healthify" your kitchen and even your grocery list!
Together, we will go through every item in your fridge and cupboards and I will educate you on them, why certain items are not good for you. You will learn to read labels and identify the value of foods. I will help you to make a fresh start by getting rid of unhealthy items, and making room for nutritious food items that will become your staples and mealtime favourites.
After the visit, I will provide you with a summary of what we discussed, as well as easy recipes/meal ideas that will save you TIME and MONEY. You will also receive an individualized plan/goals for moving forward. And I'll make sure that you stick to it!
Once you start the new habits, you will experience improvements in your health and overall being!
Grocery Store Visits
We will make visits to both a "traditional" grocery store (ie Loblaws) as well as the local Health Food Store.
Learn how to choose healthier alternatives, which foods to choose less often, and how to navigate the grocery aisles to choose the most nutritious foods. You will learn to shop with confidence and to be able to better invest your dollar towards nutritional choices. Your own visits to the grocery store will become an experience, instead of a chore.

Everyone wants to eat healthy, but sometimes we aren't sure if what we are eating is actually healthy; there is so much conflicting information out there. In addition, people just don't have a lot of time! Eating a delicious and healthy diet doesn't have to be difficult or time consuming. You don’t have to forego healthy eating and nutritious food to make your meals enjoyable – and easy!
I teach strategies from shopping to prep to cooking, to help you learn how to fit healthy cooking into a busy lifestyle. Cooking your own food is a great way to maintain control over the ingredients in your food while still eating the foods you like.
